Fair Play Sports Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use
the FairPlay Sports mobile application ("App").
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you register and use the App:
- Account information: first name, last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, country, and optional address.
- Nickname: the display name you choose within the App.
- Prediction data: the game picks and scores you submit.
- Group activity: groups you create, join, or administer.
- Chat messages: messages you send within group and game chats.
- Device token: a push notification token to deliver game reminders and result alerts.
- Biometric credentials: if you enable biometric login, your credentials are stored locally on your device only and never transmitted to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To operate group prediction pools and calculate scores.
- To send push notifications about game reminders, results, and group activity.
- To send prediction confirmation emails.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines.
- To improve the App using aggregated, anonymized analytics.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect payment or financial information — the App is free with no in-app purchases.
- We do not collect precise GPS location.
- We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone.
- We do not collect biometric data on our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google): authentication, database, push notifications, crash reporting, and analytics.
- SendGrid: transactional email delivery for prediction confirmations.
- NHL API / football-data.org: public sports data for game schedules and results. No personal data is shared with these services.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers listed above who process data on our behalf.
- If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Fair Play Sports Inc., our users, or the public.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
If you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our active systems
within 30 days. Prediction history and anonymized analytics may be retained in aggregate form.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information,
we will delete it promptly. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental consent.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS),
Firebase security rules, and authenticated access controls. However, no method of
electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
You may, at any time:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of push notifications through your device settings or the App's notification settings screen.

we will notify you through the App or by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
